The 102-metre Project Spectrum, designed by Nauta Yachts, is the latest concept from Oceanco
The 102-metre Oceanco Spectrum is a sleek beast from the board of Mario Pedol at Nauta Yachts. And that athletic poise is more than simply appears – the 15.3-metre beam creates a slender profile that, in conjunction with hybrid propulsion, makes for an efficient cruise. “Extensive investment in hull form research and development provides a refined hull form which, when coupled with the hybrid propulsion system, allows Spectrum to cruise in many different efficient modes. She keeps a sleek, streamlined profile, makes it possible for reduced opposition through water,” the yard states. She reaches a premier speed of 18.5 knots with twin 1,440kW MTUs along with a 500kW electric engine.
Spectrum’s accommodation over five decks provides many freedom for guests. The design creates a seamless flow between outside deck areas plus the inside. Light is another key aspect of Spectrum, with big windows and extensive balconies bringing the outside in.
The top of deck is provided to the master by having a panoramic view forward from owners’ suite and access to an exclusive spa pool and seating area. The forward deck comes with a touch-and- get helipad. Aft can be an additional salon and bar area, that may form an element of the owner’s private area or be opened to the other visitors up to speed. The reduced deck features a wellness suite with sauna, vapor room, beauty therapy area and massage rooms, with two terraces starting symmetrically port and starboard from the massage space and gym areas.
The Oceanco Spectrum is LY3 compliant. “She offers variety, freedom and continuity. Just like a rainbow, Spectrum is similar to a musical organization of colours generated by subtle variants of wavelength. She actually is mercurial in just how she offers a lot of opportunities,” claims the garden.
